The Lumatek HPS 1000W DE 400V is a high-pressure sodium double-ended (DE) bulb designed for use with 400V electronic ballasts. It features high-grade ceramic arc tube technology and a specific horticultural gas blend that creates an optimal spectral output for healthy plant growth.

Double-ended HPS lamps are more stable than single-ended lamps, offering a 10% increase in light intensity and PAR/PPF output. This increased light intensity also allows the lamp to be positioned further from the plant canopy, increasing light footprint and improving light uniformity.

The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, improving color rendering, output, and efficiency. Additionally, pulse-start technology enables faster start-up, longer lamp life, and improved lumen maintenance.
