HPS: high pressure sodium
Their spectrum is suitable for growth and flowering thanks to an unbeatable light output. HPS bulbs contain a tube filled with sodium, mercury and xenon which, when traversed by a powerful electric arc, emits a warm and intense light.
"Electronic" HPS bulbs are designed to work specifically with electronic ballasts for better light output, longer life and increased reliability. Their reinforced frame and their discharge tube which does not resonate at high frequency solve the problems linked to the use of a dimmer on a classic HPS bulb.
Like the rest of the range, the bulbs have been inspected and tested by the DEKRA laboratory, an internationally accredited body for European certification.
Exclusively intended for horticultural lighting. Not suitable for illuminating household rooms.
